"Working with Sarah is one of the best choices I've made in my musical journey. She's not just an amazing musician, she's a gifted teacher. She is so nurturing, naturally intuitive, supportive, and she knows how to break things down and make them click. She sees exactly what parts of my journey need tweaking, and she'll create whole lesson plans around those details. She has such great energy of support and encouragement. It really means a lot when you are trying something new to have that type of support and care in your corner." - Gene

"Sarah is a fantastic musician and teacher. My 15 month old daughter truly lights up when we see Sarah. She's delightful and bright and appears to be totally born to perform and teach. I've seen my little girl develop a real love of singing and songs in the time we've known Sarah. I always tell her that I'm pretty sure my daughter dreams of Sarah at night because she's so enthralled with her. We love you Sarah!"

"Sarah has been part of our musical family for the last eight years, and we are SO grateful that she was the gem who introduced our children to the world of music. She taught our son piano for nearly seven years and gave him his first guitar lessons (the instrument he focuses on primarily now). With Sarah’s guidance, he grew as a musician and developed a deep love for music. When his interest shifted toward jazz, she supported and encouraged him to explore jazz piano, and today as a jazz guitarist, he continues to draw on the strong foundation in music theory that she helped him build.

Our daughter has been learning piano with Sarah for the last seven years. Even now, after most lessons, she still runs to me beaming, “Mommy, I had the BEST lesson!” That joy is a testament to Sarah’s blend of warmth, talent, and dedication. She brings genuine heart to every session, always showing up fully present. She celebrates our daughter’s orchestra and jazz performances, offers her thoughtful feedback, and tailors lessons to her evolving interests while never losing sight of music fundamentals.

Here’s a favorite example of mine - After our daughter learned about Dolly Parton in second grade (and was momentarily obsessed), Sarah incorporated two Dolly songs into her lessons. She split the time between those and classical pieces, while using the opportunity to also nurture our daughter’s singing. Sarah’s approach is joyful, creative, and deeply intentional.

Beyond music instruction, Sarah has been an invaluable guide for us as parents. I don’t have a musical background, but Sarah has always answered my questions with patience, kindness, and most importantly, the kids’ best interest at heart.

Sarah is a truly exceptional teacher and a lovely human. She is gifted, nurturing, and inspiring, and our children adore her. We feel incredibly lucky to have her in our lives, and I cannot recommend her highly enough." -Lina

"I was always extremely shy to sing. Radio had to be so loud I couldn’t hear myself. The shower was my only stage. So I asked Sarah to help me push through that limiting belief and learn to love my own expression. Her teaching style created a sublime environment that inspired me to really trust myself and let go. She masterfully coached with gentle pointers and celebrated all the wins. By the end of our very first session, I grabbed the mic and sang my heart out. I’m listening to all music with a more refined ear, singing along often and finally appreciating my own vocal expression".  -Garrett

"I honestly can say that it's our favorite time of the week! Sarah is an incredibly talented musician with a whole-hearted love for children. She takes care to engage individually with each child and brings amazing energy and passion to her teaching." - Arielle

"As we think about growing old and preparing ourselves mentally and spiritually, I often reflect on how learning music was one of the kindest things I’ve done for myself. Even when my body slows down, I’ll still be able to explore and connect through sound. Music has transformed how I perceive the world, relate to others, and understand myself. I once thought I could never be part of this world—now I can play most songs I hear.

Sarah took me on a journey from not being able to pitch match or knowing what an octave was, to being able to write, sing, play instruments & produce my own music (now on Spotify & all streaming platforms). Sarah has been the key that has helped me unlock a world of creativity and expression, and to be able to take the tender things I feel and resonate with someone, somewhere. No one else has been able to follow me on as many particular rabbit holes, such as learning a song in another language, finding the exact right snare or helping me find a mysterious chord. Learning with Sarah is endless, since she started her journey so early and has been devoted to every aspect of music since. There’s no limit to what she can do, and there is no limit to what you can learn with her."   -Simona
